We are giving oral proficiency interviews to determine the fluency level of each student.
If I had more time I imagine I’d be more creative in what I have my students do while I assess each student individually.
I’ve decided to show my students the movie “Sugar”. It is about a baseball player who comes here from the D.R. He struggles with cultural differences and the language barrier. I created this 3 page packet to correspond with the movie. It’d also be great for sub plans if ever in a pickle.
